Contribution recognized

The contributor identifies workforce, staffing, and HR compliance needs through a situated workplace or civic/community contribution that produces a usable output for another person’s planning, coordination, decision, or action.

Learning Goal

  • LG025 — Learners will develop their ability to identify workforce, staffing, and HR compliance needs to support responsible management action.

Learning Outcomes

  1. LO073 — Upon completion, the learner will be able to identify workforce needs, staffing requirements, HR responsibilities, role expectations, or people management issues in a contribution context.
  2. LO074 — Upon completion, the learner will be able to classify an HRM issue according to workforce, staffing, performance, cooperation, compliance, labour relations, or escalation considerations.
  3. LO075 — Upon completion, the learner will be able to summarize responsible action, documentation, referral, or escalation needs related to an HRM issue.

AE003 — Project Documentation

Evidentiary purpose: Makes the contributor’s situated role and use of LO073, LO074, LO075 visible through a naturally occurring project documentation.

Minimum characteristics: - A genuine workplace or civic/community context. - An attributable contributor role. - A usable output aligned to the selected Learning Outcomes. - Sufficient context for AC001 and AC002 validation.

Workplace example

A workplace workforce needs note, staffing gap tracker, recruitment support worksheet, role expectation summary, HR compliance concern note, health and safety follow-up tracker, policy application note, people management briefing, or escalation pathway document identifying workforce, staffing, or HR compliance needs.

Civic/community example

A civic/community volunteer capacity note, staffing or role gap tracker, recruitment support worksheet, volunteer role summary, compliance concern note, safety follow-up tracker, policy application note, governance people issue summary, or escalation pathway document identifying workforce, staffing, or HR compliance needs.

AC001 — STARR Reflection

Redo (R): The STARR Reflection is missing, is not attributable to the contributor, does not sufficiently address one or more required STARR elements, or does not establish a credible connection to LO073, LO074, LO075 and the aligned KSBs.

Pass (P): The STARR Reflection is complete, situated, and attributable. It addresses Situation: The contributor identifies a workplace or civic/community setting where workforce needs, staffing requirements, HR responsibilities, role expectations, compliance considerations, labour relations considerations, or escalation concerns were present. Task: The contributor explains the workforce need, staffing requirement, role expectation, HR responsibility, compliance concern, health and safety issue, equity consideration, labour relations concern, risk, governance issue, or escalation objective.Action: The contributor describes how they identified workforce, staffing, or HR compliance needs; classified the issue according to workforce/staffing/performance/cooperation/compliance/labour relations/escalation considerations; and summarized responsible action, documentation, referral, or escalation needs.Result: The contributor describes the clarification, documentation improvement, staffing awareness, recruitment support, escalation, stakeholder understanding, compliance awareness, cooperation support, or responsible management action that resulted from the contribution.; Relevance: The contributor explicitly connects the reflection to LG025, LO073–LO075, and the Training Unit-Level KSBs K001, K006, K009, S001, S008, B001, and B005. AC002 — Contribution Witness Statement

Redo (R): The Contribution Witness Statement is absent, unattributable, provided by a person unable to confirm the contribution context, or does not sufficiently confirm the contributor’s role, situated contribution, relationship to LO073, LO074, LO075, and claimed KSB alignment.

Pass (P): An identifiable and contextually appropriate witness provides a credible statement that addresses Context Confirmation: The witness confirms the contributor participated in a workplace or civic/community context involving workforce needs, staffing requirements, HR responsibilities, role expectations, compliance considerations, labour relations considerations, or escalation concerns. Contribution Confirmation: The witness confirms the contributor helped identify, document, communicate, clarify, refer, or escalate an HRM issue.LO Confirmation: The witness confirms the contribution reasonably relates to identifying workforce/staffing/HR compliance needs, classifying the issue, and summarizing responsible action or escalation needs.; KSB Confirmation: The witness confirms the contribution supports developmental alignment to K001, K006, K009, S001, S008, B001, or B005 and does not contradict the claimed alignment.Credibility: The witness is identifiable and has sufficient relationship to the contribution context to confirm the evidence.

Completion requirement

Both AC001 and AC002 must achieve Pass (P). A Redo (R) on either component returns the Training Item for revision. Distinction is not available at the Training Item level.
