### My reflection on this session at **TAICEP2026**
What I learned:
*
As a production evaluator, I am very far removed from my organization's business decisions. I have been so focused on the pile of files on my desk that this was an amazing opportunity to lift my head and see the wider context of what happens after the credential evaluation report is prepared.

How I can use what I learned:
*
I have a more holistic and broad view of internationally educated individuals. At first I was concerned that some of the informal badges would be an attempt to monetize and turn non-formal skills and relationship into a product. These non qualitative features (community relationships, self-developed skills) are invaluable. My suggestion for the future is not to make the skills holders pay or work to get these ephemera qualifications recognized, but work to train the hiring committees and decision makers on how to incorporate these factors into their process.

Suggestions for the presenter/facilitator(s):
Fabulous session, I feel my mind was activated in a new way.
OPTIONAL: Let us know how we can improve future sessions, including additional topics you'd like to learn about.
