RBC Community Innovation Bootcamp

Huron at Western University is a Liberal Arts University that offers elite, yet accessible education where personalized learning experiences position students for professional success, while also developing their character. As an RBC Community Innovation BootCamp participant, the badge earner learned and applied innovation principles to discover underlying causes to the client's organizational challenges. Through a series of exercises, the badge earner conceptualized, developed, and pitched recommendations to solve these issues thereby contributing positively to the organization's social impact.

• Full participation as a team member in RBC Community Innovation Bootcamp
• Work with incomplete information by developing assumptions and hypotheses in developing a feasible solution
• Practiced empathy to understand the client's organizational complexities as well as the end user's needs
• Integrate feedback from client organization to further refine the proposed solution - Work as a team under time constraints to develop solutions for the client
• Demonstrate integration of skills to develop impactful, achievable solutions for the client organization
• Develop a pitch deck and present to a panel of judges
