In this reinforcing micro-credential, students will explore the practical application of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools in their learning environment. They will examine current trends and best practices, focusing on using GenAI tools for creating instructional resources for teaching and learning. Students will address ethical considerations such as bias and inclusion, incorporating Indigenous perspectives, to ensure responsible and respectful use of GenAI in education. By the end of this micro-credential, students will be well-prepared to apply GenAI tools in their professional practice to enhance learning experiences and improve outcomes for their learners.
