While change may occur at tactical levels (e.g., course design or non-academic program offering), their role is to assess the broader program(s) to find thematic ways to digitize and modernize their ecosystem. While Dx leaders may lead the charge on tactical changes, they serve best when they engage their stakeholder groups to think collaboratively and creatively to make inclusive, accessible, and modern changes. - Examined the digital ecosystem (network of stakeholders, programs, services, platforms and products that interact and influence each other to deliver a great service or product) in higher education institutions.
- Analyzed approaches to engage stakeholders and promote creativity and idea generation.
- Explored how digital maturity assessments help to understand where an institution is in their digital transformation journey.
- Identified how stakeholders interact with programs using journey mapping tools.
