Criteria

First, students will create tables to give structure to data and use sorting and filtering to analyze data and use Total row option for summary function calculations. Then, students will use the Quick Analysis Tool for direct access to a collection of features as an alternative to tabs. Students will then create basic macros to change manual repetitive tasks into automated tasks. Next, students will create templates as a predesigned basis for new workbooks using frequently used content to save time and to ensure consistency. Finally, students will learn how to protect worksheets and cells from unauthorized access or editing.
