Learnist is an independent private training provider based in Canada, dedicated to delivering skills-based, employer-aligned micro-credentials that help learners enter and advance in high-demand sectors.

We specialize in stackable digital credentials that combine foundational employability skills, workplace safety, and specialized competencies—designed for flexibility, accessibility, and real-world impact. Our programs feature instructor-led training, applied learning through case studies and scenarios, and verifiable digital credentials via CanCred that learners can share with employers, agencies, and community partners.

Flagship Program: Our Home Support Worker (HSW) Readiness Program is a comprehensive, stackable pathway aligned with Canada's National Occupational Classification (NOC 44101), the Government of Canada's Skills for Success framework, and Ontario's home and community care standards. Delivered in collaboration with community partners, it prepares learners for entry-level roles in personal support, dementia care, palliative support, and infection prevention.

Beyond HSW, Learnist develops workforce-ready training in digital skills, workplace readiness, and care sector competencies—with a commitment to cultural responsiveness, learner support, and measurable employment outcomes.

To earn this badge, learners must successfully complete:

MODULE MASTERY • Pass all end-of-module knowledge checks (≥80%) covering: IPAC fundamentals, hazard identification, emergency protocols, and safe mobility principles

CASE STUDY APPLICATION • Analyze 2 safety-focused scenarios (e.g., "Client shows signs of infection" / "Witnessing a fall during transfer") • Submit action plans demonstrating: IPAC steps taken, hazard mitigation strategies, escalation decisions, and professional documentation

INTERACTIVE SCENARIO SIMULATION • Complete a branching scenario: "Safety First: Responding in the Moment" • Make time-sensitive choices about PPE use, client stabilization, emergency contact, and post-incident reporting; receive feedback on safety prioritization

REFLECTION & SAFETY COMMITMENT • Submit a 150–200 word reflection: "One safety practice I will champion to protect my clients and myself—and how I'll stay updated on best practices" • Digitally acknowledge the Learnist Safety Pledge affirming commitment to evidence-informed practices

FINAL INTEGRATED ASSESSMENT • Pass a cumulative assessment (≥85%) synthesizing IPAC, hazard response, emergency protocols, and communication under pressure

Badge is issued digitally via CanCred with verifiable URL, alignment metadata, and shareable link for resumes/LinkedIn.
