The recipient of this microcredential has demonstrated the ability to:

  • understand and articulate the relevance of infant and early mental health and the interconnection between responsive relationships, co-regulation, and brain development
  • support responsive caregiver-child relationships through the delivery of community programs
  • identify risk and protective factors based on comprehensive case study analysis
  • recommend effective child and family support strategies

By providing:

Learners submit a case study analysis to showcase their knowledge, skills, and competencies of early childhood mental health indicators and positive caregiver responses towards building resiliency.

And by reflecting on the entire process by:

Participants are provided with opportunities to share their reflections on the weekly content through online journal entries and a group discussion board forums.
