Being a Mentor

The learner has completed this eLearning module designed to build understanding of mentorship, what it means to be a mentor, and the positive impacts mentorship has on workplace culture and the overall success of women in skilled trades.

Learning Outcomes

1. Discover how mentorship in the workplace improves individual and team success.
2. Understand the impact of mentorship on apprenticeship completion and career advancement
3. Learn how to develop positive relationships with women apprentices / mentees and how they contribute to productivity and morale.
4. Learn about the experiences of women in manufacturing and how they affect their well-being.
5. Identify strategies to initiate and integrate mentorship practices for women in the workplace

Knowledge Activities and Application

This module includes several interactive learning activities that requires the learner to apply concepts and understanding to realistic workplace scenarios. Learners receive immediate feedback and takeaway resources.
