This badge certifies that the learner has developed a foundational understanding of work documents and dimensional drawings used in manufacturing. The series introduces blueprint basics, dimensions, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and assembly drawings. Learners also gain practical skills in reading work orders and optional an optional CNC setup/tooling sheets, enabling them to interpret and apply technical documentation effectively in the workplace.

Learner has successfully completed a self-directed learning path designed to build awareness and understanding of the role of dimensional drawings and work documents in manufacturing.

  • Working knowledge of reading assembly drawings
  • Working knowledge of reading work orders
  • Working knowledge of CNC setup/tooling sheets (optional)

Assessment:

This is a self-paced series includes with several checkpoints for formative assessment. Responses are automatically assessed. Multiple attempts are permitted.
