Flagship Program: Our Home Support Worker (HSW) Readiness Program is a comprehensive, stackable pathway aligned with Canada's National Occupational Classification (NOC 44101), the Government of Canada's Skills for Success framework, and Ontario's home and community care standards. Delivered in collaboration with community partners, it prepares learners for entry-level roles in personal support, dementia care, palliative support, and infection prevention.

To earn this badge, learners must successfully complete:
MODULE MASTERY • Pass all end-of-module knowledge checks (≥80%) covering: professional boundaries, communication fundamentals, workplace ethics, and Ontario home care system basics
CASE STUDY APPLICATION • Analyze 2 realistic workplace scenarios (e.g., "Navigating a disagreement with a client's family" / "Responding to unclear instructions from a supervisor") • Submit written responses demonstrating professional judgement, clear communication, and client-centered decision-making
INTERACTIVE SCENARIO SIMULATION • Complete a branching scenario: "Your First Week on the Job" • Make real-time choices about introductions, documentation, boundary-setting, and escalation; receive feedback on professionalism and adaptability
REFLECTION & CAREER PLANNING • Submit a 200–250 word reflection: "How will I apply these employability skills to build trust with clients and grow in my home care career?" • Create one SMART professional goal aligned with NOC 44101 career pathways
FINAL INTEGRATED ASSESSMENT • Pass a cumulative assessment (≥85%) synthesizing communication, ethics, and workplace readiness concepts
Badge is issued digitally via CanCred with verifiable URL, alignment metadata, and shareable link for resumes/LinkedIn.
