Design & Layout with Canva

The UVic Libraries Digital Scholarship Commons helps the UVic community pursue their passions and tell their research stories in engaging ways. We offer workshops and help with data analysis software, generative AI tools 3D printers, laser cutters, and more. The DSC provides a welcoming and inclusive space for the UVic community.

Workshop participants who earned this badge can do the following:

• Follow best practices guidelines for design layout
• Use appropriately higher resolution images for print vs digital
• Utilize various types of templates available on Canva
• Optional: Design a poster online using Canva
• Optional: Ddesign a brochure online using Canva
• Optional: Design an infographic using Canva
