Leadership Certificate Program (LCP)

The Sunnybrook Leadership Institute (SLI) offers a variety of programs, workshops and courses for personal and professional development in the areas of Leadership, Change Management, Self-Awareness and Communication. Our offerings support Sunnybrook's INVENT 2030 Strategic Direction of Thriving People and Teams, and embed education that facilitates the enabler of Social Responsibility and SLI's commitment to equity in education and organizational development.

Earning Criteria

• Time: 40 hours over a 24 month period.
• Participation & reflective exercises: Recipient gained knowledge, awareness, skills and behaviours to effectively lead in both formal and informal ways, and contribute positively to an inclusive workplace.
• Project or Presentation: Culminating reflective journal and expanded learning with additional connections to the learning content.

• Leadership & Self-Awareness: Emotional intelligence, personality preferences, resilience and enduring change.
• Navigating Conversations: Giving feedback, conflict management, high-stakes conversations.
• Inclusive Workplace Interactions: EDI principles, unconscious bias, respect in the workplace.
