Eligibility
- Completion of a certificate or diploma program from a DDA Cabada recognized educational institution.
OR
- Completion of some courses in the area of decorating or design and a minimum of 5 years’ work experience in the industry. All members who join via this route submit a portfolio with at least 3 projects profiled + two letters of reference from clients. Portfolios are reviewed by the DDA Canada Membership Committee and members are approved by the DDA Canada Board of Directors.
OR
- A minimum of 10 years’ work experience in the design/decorating field. All members who join via this route submit a portfolio with at least 3 projects profiled + two letters of reference from clients. Portfolios are reviewed by the DDA Canada Membership Committee and members are approved by the DDA Canada Board of Directors.
DDA Canada members are required to obtain a minimum of 0.5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) (5 hours) on an annual basis and present verification at renewal.
DDA Canada members are also required to adhere to the DDA Canada Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct.
