Accreditation in public relations is a voluntary certification program administered by the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) to recognize public relations practitioners who have the required depth of experience and competence in the professional practice of public relations. An accredited member is permitted to use the designation "APR" (Accredited in Public Relations) after his or her name.
