GSHP Systems – Introduction to GSHP Systems and Standards

The purpose of this module is to increase consistency and accuracy within the ground source heat pump (GSHP) industry. It provides foundational knowledge that can be built upon by designers, installers, inspectors, and other professionals involved in the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of GSHP systems. This course offers an introductory overview of the CSA/ANSI/IGSHPA C448 Series, defining key terminology, highlighting the importance of this Standard, and explaining the role of related codes and standards within the industry. By the end of the module, you will be able to explain how GSHP systems function and the key benefits of these systems.
