Aligned to Learning Agents Flexible Spectrum of Recognition:
The CoL is a participant-driven space, open to anybody interested in RPL/PLAR: CAPLA will facilitate the sessions, but the community will shape them. This is a safe space where we can discuss, share, and support each other in the RPL/PLAR work that we do.
If you are relatively new to the RPL/PLAR field, come and benefit from collaboration with seasoned RPL/PLAR practitioners: it's a great opportunity to network and find the support you need. If you are a more established RPL/PLAR Practitioner, it's a great place to discuss your work with like-minded colleagues, share and find potential answers to issues and challenges in your service delivery.
The badge recipient completed a badge application form, reflecting on what they learned and how they might apply it in their professional practice.
This is a Reflective Learner participation badge with no formal assessment of learning, just light validation of the badge recipient's professional reflections.

What is Recognition of Prior Learning?
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a set of processes that allows individuals to identify,
document, be assessed, and gain recognition for their prior learning. The focus is on the learning, rather than on where or how the learning occurred. Knowledge, skills, and abilities
gained from life experiences may be formal, informal, or non-formal. RPL processes may serve several purposes, including: credit or advanced standing at an academic institution, licensure and professional certification, employment, career planning, community recognition or self-knowledge.
