CanCred Training: Issuers

Dirigé par la COFA, le projet Reconnaitre pour réussir s’adresse aux personnes apprenantes inscrites dans les centres de parcours Réussite en Ontario. Il vise à reconnaitre, valoriser et rendre visibles les apprentissages et les compétences qu’elles développent au fil de leurs expériences de vie et dans le cadre du projet, tout en les accompagnant dans leur parcours vers l’emploi, la formation et l’inclusion sociale.

Led by COFA, the Reconnaitre pour réussir project is intended for learners enrolled in Literacy and Basic Skills (LBS) centres across Ontario. The project aims to recognize, value, and make visible the learning and skills they develop through their life experiences and as part of the project, while supporting them in their pathways toward employment, further education and training, and social inclusion.

Learning Agents is a Canadian company focused on career development and workplace learning using digital badges and micro-credentials based on the international standard for Open Badges.

Learning Outcomes

1. Explain the process of issuing a badge that has already been created
2. Manually issue a single badge
3. Manually issue multiple badges at once (bulk issue)
4. Determine if issued badges have been accepted
5. Send reminders for issued badges not accepted
6. [OPTIONAL] Accept a badge for the training session

Learning Experience, Activities

Virtual hands-on workshop focused on the process of manually issuing badges to learners, based on participation in training and development events.

Assessment

This is a Learning Participation badge with no formal assessment of learning, but the badge holder issued one or more badges as a performance outcome in the learning experience.
